AirWatt HVAC & Home Performance is looking for an experienced HVAC Installer to join our growing team in the Marion, NC area. This position will primarily focus on residential HVAC installations, replacements, ductwork, and system startups. The installer may also be required to run HVAC service and diagnostic calls as needed. No on-call schedule. Responsibilities Install residential heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, condensers, and related equipment Complete HVAC system replacements and new installations Install and modify ductwork Install refrigerant line sets, drains, electrical connections, and thermostats Braze, pressure test, evacuate, charge, and commission HVAC systems Verify proper airflow and system operation Perform startup and final system checks Run HVAC service and diagnostic calls when needed Diagnose common heating and cooling system problems Assist with appliance repair or refrigeration calls when qualified and needed Maintain a clean and professional jobsite Communicate installation issues and recommendations Follow manufacturer requirements and applicable codes Requirements HVAC installation experience required North Carolina HVAC license preferred EPA 608 certification preferred Valid driver's license Dependable and professional Knowledge of refrigerant systems, electrical, drainage, and ductwork Ability to work independently and complete installations with minimal supervision HVAC service and diagnostic experience is a plus Appliance repair knowledge is a plus Commercial refrigeration knowledge is a plus Experience with walk-in coolers, reach-ins, ice machines, or restaurant refrigeration is a plus Must take pride in clean, professional workmanship Experience with Manual J/load calculations, duct design, airflow testing, home performance, building science, appliance diagnostics, and commercial refrigeration is a plus. AirWatt can provide equipment sizing, load calculations, installation plans, and project specifications when needed. Schedule Full-time position. No on-call rotation or on-call schedule. Occasional HVAC, appliance, or refrigeration service calls may be assigned during normal working hours depending on workload and experience. Pay Starting $21.50 per hour, depending on experience, licensing, and capabilities. Higher consideration may be given to applicants who can independently handle complete HVAC installations, service diagnostics, appliance repair, or commercial refrigeration.
