In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork systems that ensure optimal airflow and climate control. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of large-scale HVAC projects, helping clients achieve energy efficiency and indoor air quality standards. Responsibilities Install, modify, and repair commercial HVAC duct systems according to schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design specifications Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, assemble, and secure ductwork with precision and safety in mind Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and building automation system diagrams to ensure accurate installation Troubleshoot HVAC system issues related to ductwork, including identifying leaks or obstructions that impact airflow Assist with the installation of HVAC equipment such as air handlers, boilers, refrigeration units, and electrical systems Perform routine maintenance on duct systems and related mechanical components to ensure ongoing system efficiency Collaborate with service technicians and project managers to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC duct installation or related mechanical systems Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, safely and effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights or in confined spaces as needed for installation tasks Join us if you're passionate about mechanical systems and HVAC system installation!
