Duties Assist with the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Support technicians in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools like ohmmeters, and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Help perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency. Aid in repairing HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) equipment by replacing faulty components and conducting system repairs. Prepare work areas by organizing hand tools and mechanical parts; ensure safety protocols are followed during all tasks. Support service technicians in diagnosing electrical systems issues involving electrical diagnostics and electrical systems repair. Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as refrigerant piping or condensate drain lines as needed. Drive company vehicles to job sites safely while adhering to all traffic laws; deliver equipment and supplies efficiently. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics used, parts replaced, and system diagnostics for future reference. Communicate effectively with clients about ongoing work status and ensure customer service standards are met or exceeded. Experience Prior construction experience or hands-on work supporting HVAC or mechanical systems is highly preferred. Experience working as a service technician or in property maintenance roles is a strong advantage. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems, plumbing, and mechanical systems repair is beneficial. Knowledge of HVAC system installation, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting techniques is essential. Basic electrical diagnostics skills including use of ohmmeters and understanding electrical systems are required. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R equipment repair such as boilers or ammonia refrigeration units is desirable. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with building automation systems adds value. Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. EPA certification (Environmental Protection Agency) for handling refrigerants is required for certain tasks. Pay:

$17.50 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
