Lead Commercial HVAC Installer Superior Mechanical Inc. is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for leading commercial and industrial HVAC installation projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. The right candidate will have strong commercial installation experience, the ability to read plans and specifications, and the leadership skills needed to direct a crew and keep projects moving forward.
Responsibilities:
Lead commercial and industrial HVAC installation projects from start to completion Install rooftop units, split systems, package units, ductwork, piping, and related HVAC equipment Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, specifications, and submittals Coordinate daily work with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades Assign tasks and provide direction to installers and helpers Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and applicable codes Monitor project progress, material needs, and jobsite conditions Identify installation issues and communicate solutions promptly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Complete required project documentation accurately and on time Represent Superior Mechanical professionally with customers and project partners
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of commercial HVAC installation experience required Previous experience leading an installation crew strongly preferred Working knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and installation practices Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and lead others effectively Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Ability to meet the physical demands of commercial HVAC installation work High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required
