About the Role We are seeking motivated HVAC Installers at all experience levels to join our team. This role involves installing, servicing, and optimizing a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with opportunities to work on advanced technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP), energy recovery ventilators (ERV), and more. Whether you're just starting your career or are a seasoned installer ready to lead crews, we offer a clear path for advancement, hands-on training, and sponsorship for Apprentice Cards. Key Responsibilities (all levels) Install and service ductwork, HVAC equipment, and related components Work with air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, ERVs, and insulation systems Follow safety protocols, building codes, and manufacturer specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients Position Levels & Expectations Entry-Level Installer Assist with ducting installation and equipment setup Learn trade fundamentals under supervision Perform HDPE pipe fusion for geothermal systems Support mini-split installation projects Develop skills in tool use, safety, and system troubleshooting Mid-Level Installer Train and mentor entry-level team members Execute complex ducting designs and detailed installations Install ASHP compressors and mini-split systems independently Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges on-site Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines Senior Installer / Crew Lead Lead installation crews and coordinate project workflow Perform purge & fill procedures for hydronic systems Pump down refrigerant lines and prepare systems for service Oversee complex ducting design and high-detail installations Liaise with project managers, clients, and inspectors to ensure successful project delivery Qualifications Required (Entry-Level / All Candidates) High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, or electrical work. Willingness to learn and complete company-provided training. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied environments (indoors, outdoors, attics, crawl spaces). Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills with a customer-first attitude. Preferred (Mid-Level to Senior Technicians / Crew Leads) EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred). NH/ME Gas License or willingness to obtain. Experience installing and servicing HVAC systems, including heat pumps (ASHP/GSHP), ductwork, and ventilation systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Knowledge of energy-efficient systems, including geothermal and high-efficiency heat pumps. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to train, mentor, or supervise junior technicians or apprentices. Excellent time management and project coordination skills. NATE Certification or equivalent trade certifications (preferred but not required).
