Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Residential / Commercial Service Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Perform installation and maintenance of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot electrical systems utilizing diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults in electrical wiring, controls, or building automation systems. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems or property maintenance needs, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and codes. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform mechanical repairs on various system components with precision and efficiency. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for transparency and future reference. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with every visit. Qualifications 3-5 years experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair, installation, or maintenance. Construction experience or property maintenance background is highly desirable. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is preferred. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently using technical manuals and schematics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; a driver's license is required for travel between job sites. EPA certification or equivalent licensing for refrigerant handling is necessary. NH Gas licesne. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments requiring physical activity and problem-solving skills.
