Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems Wire low-voltage connections for heating and cooling equipment Install refrigerant lines; perform brazing, soldering, or pressing Connect gas lines and verify safe operation of systems Read blueprints and pre-measure materials for installation Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control issues Complete service/start-up reports and documentation Mentor and train HVAC apprentices or helpers Qualifications 3-5 years of HVAC installation or service experience Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record

EPA & OSHA
