We're looking for a self-driven Lead HVAC Technician who can take ownership of service calls and installations, handle minor residential plumbing repairs, and bring an eagerness to learn oil-fired heating equipment. Oil heat experience is a plus; a willingness to learn it is essential. What You'll Do Lead HVAC installations and perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs. Handle minor residential plumbing repairs, such as leaking faucets, running toilets, and fixture or valve replacements, within your experience and company guidelines. Develop your skills in servicing and maintaining oil-fired boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. Take ownership of assigned jobs—from preparation and diagnosis through completion and cleanup. Explain findings and repair options clearly so homeowners can make informed decisions. Help guide other technicians and set a strong example for workmanship, safety, and professionalism. Keep your truck, tools, materials, and job records organized. Communicate job progress, material needs, and unexpected issues promptly with the office. What You Bring Strong hands-on HVAC service and installation experience, with the ability to lead jobs independently. A working understanding of residential plumbing and confidence handling minor repairs. Initiative, accountability, and the ability to stay productive without being micromanaged. A genuine interest in learning oil heat and expanding your technical skills. Sound judgment, including knowing when to ask for help.
