Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe, and healthy environments for our clients across various commercial and residential settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, ventilation systems, and building automation controls with precision and adherence to safety standards Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan, including filter replacements, system calibrations, and inspections Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques Conduct comprehensive system repairs involving refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical components Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate installation and repairs Troubleshoot equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime while providing exceptional customer service Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and inspection reports for all completed work in compliance with company policies Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in construction with a focus on mechanical systems repair Strong knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems including electrical diagnostics and building automation systems Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment such as boilers and air conditioning units Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing connections, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge essential for complex repairs Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with equipment repair is highly desirable Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications related to HVAC or electrical diagnostics are a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred Join us in delivering top-tier HVAC solutions that enhance comfort and safety! Pay:
$26.21 - $31.57 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
