HVAC/R Pipe Fitters, Mechanical Insulators & Project Managers

  • Gallup, NM area (school construction projects — Crystal & Chi Chil'Tah)
  • Job Type:
  • Full-time About Us We're staffing up for commercial school construction projects in northwest New Mexico — installing Mitsubishi VRF mechanical systems, done right the first time. Steady work on funded projects and competitive pay based on experience. We're hiring for three positions: HVAC/R Pipe Fitter

installation training
  • 3+ years commercial HVAC/R pipe fitting experience
  • Strong brazing skills on refrigerant piping; nitrogen pressure testing, evacuation, leak checks
  • Able to read mechanical plans and shop drawings Mechanical Insulator
  • 2+ years insulating HVAC piping and ductwork on commercial projects
  • Experience with fiberglass, elastomeric (Armaflex), and duct wrap/liner systems
  • Clean, spec-compliant finish work — jacketing, sealing, and vapor barriers
  • Able to work from mechanical plans and insulation schedules HVAC Project Manager
  • 5+ years managing commercial mechanical/HVAC construction projects
  • Experience running subcontract scopes under a GC — schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders
  • Strong plan reading and coordination with other trades
  • VRF project experience a plus; school or federal project experience a plus All Positions
  • Own hand tools and reliable transportation (field positions)
  • OSHA 10 a plus
  • Must pass background check for work on school sites
