This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, accurately diagnosing system issues, and performing high-quality repairs and installations. As a Senior HVAC Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems while representing our company with professionalism and integrity. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure peak system performance and energy efficiency. Install, replace, and commission HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality products. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications. Inspect equipment, identify repair or replacement needs, and clearly explain recommendations to customers. Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer guidelines, and company quality standards. Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation using company software. Safely handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations. Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and inventory of tools and materials. Mentor and assist junior technicians when needed. Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of HVAC service experience (residential and/or light commercial preferred). Strong knowledge of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and electrical systems. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Experience servicing gas furnaces, heat pumps, package units, and split systems. EPA Section 608 Certification (required). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions. Strong communication and customer service skills.
