Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help deliver comfortable indoor environments across commercial and residential settings. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems, following schematics and HVAC design plans. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults in electrical systems. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems efficiently while minimizing downtime. Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe connections and drainage solutions. Use hand tools and mechanical skills to repair or replace mechanical components within HVAC systems. Communicate clearly with clients to explain system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and installation processes. Service technician experience working with HVAC systems in residential or commercial environments. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems, and refrigeration technology. Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, maintenance, installation, and boiler operation. Familiarity with plumbing tasks associated with HVAC systems is preferred. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical diagnostics are advantageous. Experience working with hand tools and mechanical systems repair equipment confidently and safely. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
