Job Description
HVAC Service Technician — Career Path to Sales Elm Air — Freeport, NY $75,000-$100,000 | Full-time | Company vehicle & gas card Most shops want a tech who can turn a wrench. We want that too — but we're specifically looking for techs who are organized, great with homeowners, and want to grow beyond the truck. Elm Air and PAM Air Group are part of Hickory, a founder-owned family of home service companies across the tri-state (no private equity, no churn-and-burn). Our best comfort advisors — the folks earning six figures selling system replacements — started as service techs right here. If you're the tech customers ask for by name, we want to meet you. What you'll do Run residential service and maintenance calls across Nassau/western Suffolk. Diagnose and repair gas furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, and mini-splits. Walk homeowners through what you found in plain English, present repair vs. replace options honestly, and set up leads for our sales team when a system's at end of life. Keep clean notes in ServiceTitan. What we're looking for 2+ years residential HVAC service experience (EPA 608 required; NATE a plus) Clean driver's license
