About the Role We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our growing technical team. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and performance of critical power, pump, and HVAC systems by performing expert diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs both in our facility and at client sites. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive maintenance and repair protocols for diesel engines, generators, electrical distribution systems, and commercial HVAC units. Leverage digital diagnostic tools and tablet-based software to track service intervals, manage work orders, and document technical findings. Perform root-cause analysis on equipment failures to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency. Travel to customer job sites to provide on-site technical support and emergency equipment troubleshooting. Collaborate with team members to configure and test equipment setups for specific project requirements. Mentor junior technicians by sharing technical knowledge and best practices for equipment handling. Maintain accurate electronic records of all service activities to ensure compliance and inventory precision. Qualifications Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining power generation or commercial HVAC equipment. Ability to interpret complex technical schematics and calculate equipment load requirements. Proficiency in using digital diagnostic platforms and mobile reporting tools. Strong commitment to workplace safety standards and OSHA compliance. Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills Completion of a trade school certification program or equivalent technical training. Prior experience in a field service or mobile maintenance environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to diverse clients.
