Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Helper to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will assist experienced HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical and electrical HVAC systems. Duties Support HVAC technicians during installation and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems Assist with reading schematics and technical diagrams to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues Help perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency Use hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems Aid in the repair of HVAC systems, including mechanical systems repair, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting Assist with the installation of HVAC equipment such as boilers, air conditioning units, and building automation systems Support the team in maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Construction experience or previous hands-on experience working with mechanical or electrical systems preferred but not needed Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields is a plus Basic understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, and refrigeration systems Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair and maintenance Familiarity with electrical systems diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters or multimeters Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for equipment repair and installation tasks Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients Willingness to learn new skills related to building automation systems and electrical diagnostics Join our team today to build your career in the exciting world of HVAC!
