Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems across various residential settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge while delivering exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, furnaces, hot water heaters. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Perform mechanical systems repair and maintenance on diverse equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, and ductwork. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters to identify faults within complex electrical circuits. Manage plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting and leak repairs. Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and maintaining proper documentation. Collaborate with clients to assess system needs and provide recommendations for HVAC upgrades. Manage a schedule through our app program. Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of refrigerant. Skills Extensive construction experience with mechanical systems installation and repair. Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning). Strong understanding of schematics, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems. Knowledge of HVAC design principles and property maintenance practices. Mechanical knowledge covering boilers, pumps, motors, and equipment repair. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices accurately. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; experience with HVAC/R field service is preferred. Familiarity with repair procedures related to HVAC components. Experience working with property maintenance teams on air conditioning units or mechanical systems repairs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating vans or similar vehicles is advantageous.
