Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and hot water systems across diverse small commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and hot water systems. Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure longevity and optimal operation. Troubleshoot equipment problems related to plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair with precision. Perform system upgrades or modifications following safety standards and industry best practices. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues clearly and recommending appropriate solutions for clients' needs. Skills Proven construction experience with a solid understanding of mechanical systems repair and HVAC system installation; 3-5 years of experience. Service technician experience with hands-on knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems. Mechanical knowledge of building automation systems, electrical systems, boilers, and other mechanical components. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical diagnostics equipment such as ohmmeters, and other field service tools. Experience in equipment troubleshooting across various HVAC components including compressors, fans, pumps, valves, and controls. Knowledge of refrigerants and refrigeration cycle principles along with EPA certification requirements for handling refrigerants. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to perform HVAC system maintenance efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
