HVAC RNC
Lead Installers to head up new residential construction projects in the Capital Region (Albany area) and the Southern Tier (Vestal area). You'll own the installation process from rough-in to final trim-out on custom single-family homes, townhouses, and large residential developments, ensuring high structural quality and code compliance. Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute complete HVAC installations in new builds, including duct layout/hanging, refrigerant line sets, drain lines, gas piping, and equipment setting (furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, HRVs/ERVs)
- Read architectural plans and engineering spec sheets to route ductwork and position air handlers for optimal airflow and efficiency
- Direct and mentor apprentice installers on site, prioritizing safety, job speed, and neat craft quality (sheet metal wrapping, sealing, and transition fitting)
- Coordinate with general contractors, framers, electricians, and local building inspectors to keep project timelines on schedule
- Ensure all sheet metal fabrication, flues, and gas lines strictly adhere to NYS Residential Building Code and EPA guidelines Qualifications
- 3+ years of dedicated residential new construction (RNC) HVAC installation experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal or Type II)
- Advanced practical knowledge of sheet metal, duct sizing, low-voltage control wiring, and line-set brazing
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, attics, and unfinished building sites in all seasons Compensation & Benefits
