Job Description

Cooney Air is looking for HVAC Service Technicians with commercial experience to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to diagnose and repair any issues that arise. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Commercial HVAC systems, as well as performing regular maintenance checks and inspections. We are looking for a professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and has excellent problem-solving skills. Walk-ins are welcome!

Pay Range:
$75,000 - $125,000 per year

What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, warranty services, and preventative maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment Identifying maintenance risks on equipment Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. Assisting with customers' queries Strong knowledge of refrigeration, controls, and electrical systems. Complete necessary paperwork and service reports to explain work completed and track parts, refrigerant, and time. Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements. Emergency On-Call Rotation (1 day every 1-2 weeks)
Qualifications of Commercial Service HVAC Technician:
5+ years of Commercial HVAC troubleshooting preferred Universal EPA Certification Strong knowledge of refrigeration, controls, and electrical systems. Experience maintaining / repairing commercial heating & cooling equipment Valid driver's license & good driving record
Skills Required of Commercial Service HVAC Technician:
Must possess a strong desire to be part of a service team and company that cares about you Able to lift 75lbs unassisted; Able to handle a 32ft extension ladder Refrigeration, chiller, oil, and gas burner experience a huge plus!
