Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems according to schematics and design plans Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure optimal operation Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design documents, and plumbing diagrams to accurately assemble and install complex systems Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and service on HVAC/R equipment in various property settings to maximize efficiency and longevity Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport equipment, tools, and materials between job sites Repair appliances and mechanical components as needed, including welding or replacing faulty parts to restore system functionality Document all installation procedures, maintenance activities, and repairs thoroughly for compliance and future reference Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer in construction or HVAC/R fields with a strong mechanical background Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration technology, and property maintenance practices Hands-on experience with field service operations involving air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliance repair Mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in welding, equipment repair, boiler operation, and general maintenance tasks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and experience working with mechanical systems in diverse environments Prior experience working with refrigerants like ammonia or in specialized HVAC/R roles is highly desirable Embark on a career where your technical skills make a tangible difference!
