We're looking for a seasoned HVAC Journeyman with a journeyman card to join our team. You'll lead most of the jobs you're on, including installations, service, and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems, handle the toughest diagnostic calls, and help develop the next generation of technicians and apprentices. Safety, professionalism, and the customer experience come first on every job. What You'll Do Lead HVAC installations from start to finish according to company standards and local codes Diagnose and repair complex residential and commercial HVAC issues, ensuring all work is completed safely and correctly Serve as lead on most job sites, directing technicians and apprentices and making sure work meets our quality standards Test and commission newly installed systems for proper performance before leaving the job site Explain system features, maintenance tips, and operational instructions to customers in a clear, courteous way Identify problems and walk customers through their options, including repairs, upgrades, or replacement Pull permits and coordinate inspections as needed Complete all paperwork accurately, including work orders, time logs, and service documentation Maintain proper inventory of tools and parts; participate in regular inventory checks Keep your assigned company truck and equipment in clean, safe working order Mentor and train apprentices through Ayers Academy, our state-registered apprenticeship program Represent the company with professionalism and integrity on every job Follow all company safety procedures and protocols Assist with other duties as assigned

What We Offer Competitive Pay:

Starting pay of $45.00+ per hour, based on experience

Sign-on Bonus:

Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days

Take-home work truck, company cell phone, tool reimbursement, and tuition reimbursement What You Bring High school diploma or GED preferred Journeyman card (required) 10+ years of HVAC field experience, residential and commercial (required) EPA 608 Universal certification Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across a wide range of equipment Proven experience leading jobs and directing other technicians Working knowledge of plumbing systems a plus Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with customers and crew Physical Demands and Work Environment Continually required to stand, walk, sit, and utilize hand and finger dexterity. Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Continually required to talk or hear. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather). Continually works near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in high, precarious places. Occasionally works around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
