Job Description

Overview:
$•/HR + BenefitsKings Island is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems throughout the park to ensure a safe, comfortable, and operational environment for guests and associates.

Qualified candidates will be referred to and must be eligible for membership in Local 392.
Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systemsDiagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs in a timely mannerPerform preventative maintenance in accordance with established schedules and safety standardsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsMonitor and maintain building automation and control systemsEnsure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, codes, and environmental standardsAccurately document work performed, materials used, and system conditionsCollaborate with other maintenance trades and operations teams to support park operations
Qualifications:
Journeyman-level HVAC experience in commercial or industrial environments preferredMinimum of five (5) years of HVAC service experience requiredRefrigeration experience strongly preferredEPA Universal Certification requiredStrong working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and mechanical componentsProven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC systemsValid driver's license requiredAbility to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditionsMust meet eligibility requirements for membership in Local 392Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required to support park operations
