Buyers Products has an exciting opportunity for a skilled & knowledgeable HVAC technician to join their growing maintenance department. Primary responsibility will be maintaining and installing HVAC systems throughout several manufacturing facilities. The position will require someone who is self-motivated, able to effectively manage their time with minimal supervision, has a positive & outgoing attitude, enjoys being challenged daily and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary - permanent position with extremely competitive pay. Duties & Responsibilities include: Installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning devices in an indoor place Regular inspection of the devices to see that they are working optimally Find out and repair problems erupting in heaters, refrigerators and other heating and cooling devices Reading and understanding the wiring of the building in order to install the equipment Maintaining the devices and equipments used to install HVAC devices Recommending purchase of necessary equipment Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications & Requirements A license and certification from an accredited program is preferred 1-3 years of related experience A sound knowledge about various devices that perform HVAC functions A sound knowledge about the tools and other equipment needed to install and repair HVAC systems A sound knowledge of systems that are used to control HVAC devices like remote controls, handsets and laptops A sound knowledge of mechanical functions like welding, soldering, fabrication and brazing Ability to read building plans and figure out the best method to install HVAC Good analytical thinking and communication skills

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
