Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician and become a vital part of creating comfortable, safe, and efficient indoor environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help clients enjoy reliable climate control while supporting building automation systems and mechanical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction experience, mechanical knowledge, and technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Responsibilities Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems following schematics and HVAC design specifications. Perform system repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal operation of HVAC/R equipment. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and mechanical issues using hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to execute precise installations and repairs. Conduct plumbing connections and ensure compliance with safety standards such as EPA regulations for refrigerants. Diagnose complex issues involving electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, ammonia refrigeration, or boiler components. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance needs, and repair procedures clearly to clients. Skills Construction experience with a solid understanding of building codes and safety protocols. Service technician experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and building automation systems for accurate system setup. Hands-on experience with hand tools, ohmmeters, electrical testing devices, and equipment repair techniques. Knowledge of refrigeration principles including ammonia refrigeration systems when applicable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (including driver if applicable). EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or appliance repair are advantageous. Pay:
