Job Title:
HVAC Installer Job Description Join a growing residential HVAC team as either a Lead Installer or Helper, installing and servicing systems in homes and small businesses across multiple counties. You will work on a variety of residential installation projects, using your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality HVAC solutions. Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems, including ductwork and related components, in homes and small businesses. Run installation jobs independently as a Lead Installer, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Train, guide, and work alongside a Helper on job sites, delegating tasks and supporting their development toward a future lead role. Use basic hand tools, power tools, and impact drills to perform installation, construction, and HVAC-related tasks. Read and follow job plans and instructions provided at dispatch from the shop when new projects begin. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at each job site, following OSHA safety standards. Drive and care for a company vehicle, using it to travel to project locations and, when approved, taking it home as needed. Collaborate with team members and office staff to coordinate schedules, project timelines, and site requirements. Provide an extra set of hands and support the Lead Installer as a Helper, learning installation techniques and best practices. Travel to residential install projects across Licking, Coshocton, Muskingum, Guernsey, and Perry counties, and from Columbus when required.
Essential Skills For Lead Installers:
Approximately 3-4 years of HVAC installation experience, with strong skills that may outweigh exact years of experience. Proven ability to run residential HVAC installation jobs independently from start to finish. Experience working in residential construction and HVAC install environments. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with HVAC systems, duct work, and installation processes. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Zanesville, OH.
