Commercial HVAC Technician Qualifications:

Journeyman License required Mix of Commercial, Restaurants, and some Residential experience required Some Refrigeration Experience (walk-in coolers, restaurant/commercial kitchen equipment) required

Commercial HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

This role involves servicing, maintaining, and installing HVAC and light refrigeration systems for residential, commercial, and restaurant clients Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, working on systems such as furnaces, A/C units, rooftop units, and walk-in coolers, and performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs or replacements The role also includes working with HVAC electrical components, including controls, wiring, and diagnostics on refrigeration systems in restaurants Obtain materials and supplies according to establish policies and procedures. Service machinery by cleaning, lubricating or replacing shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts. Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
