We are seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyman to join our team. We are currently looking for journeymen with residential new construction HVAC experience , including rough-ins, equipment installation, ductwork, and system start-ups. Duties Install residential HVAC systems in new construction homes. Install and connect HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, and heat pumps. Install and connect ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and other HVAC components. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and HVAC schematics. Follow local building codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. Perform HVAC system start-ups, testing, and basic troubleshooting. Identify and correct installation issues to ensure systems operate properly. Use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC-specific equipment safely and efficiently. Work alongside other construction trades to coordinate HVAC installations. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Requirements Previous experience in residential new construction HVAC required . Journeyman-level HVAC experience preferred. Experience with HVAC rough-ins and residential equipment installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and HVAC schematics. Knowledge of residential HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and condensate systems. Familiarity with HVAC hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Ability to work on construction sites and in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team. Excellent communication skills.
