We are looking for an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team. The right person will be comfortable working in a team environment and independently, diagnosing problems, and performing quality repairs on both residential and commercial HVAC systems. What We're Looking For Current Journeyman HVAC license Strong diagnostic and repair experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems Ability to troubleshoot systems and accurately determine the cause of problems—not just replace parts Experience servicing and repairing heating and air conditioning equipment Strong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC controls Experience with heat pumps, split systems, package units, and other common HVAC equipment Must have your own basic hand tools and HVAC service tools Valid driver's license and good driving record; experience as a van driver preferred for field service routes. Able to work independently and as part of a team Treat apprentices, coworkers, and customers with professionalism and respect. Work cooperatively with apprentices and other technicians, recognizing and utilizing the skills and knowledge they bring to the job. Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship Ability to communicate professionally with customers and explain recommended repairs Ability to write detailed estimates and invoices. Support from an established service team The Job This is primarily a service, diagnostic, and repair position . You will be expected to arrive prepared, properly diagnose the equipment, identify the cause of the problem, communicate your findings to the customer, provide estimates for repair, and complete the repair correctly and professionally. We are looking for a technician who understands HVAC systems from the equipment and refrigeration side through the electrical and controls side. The ability to troubleshoot rather than simply replace components is essential. Pay:
