Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Conduct equipment troubleshooting for HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems to identify faults quickly and efficiently Maintain mechanical systems by replacing worn parts, adjusting components, and ensuring proper operation Perform routine HVAC system maintenance to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems when necessary, including pipe repairs and drainage issues Ensure compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and maintaining proper documentation Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs, maintenance needs, and system operations Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all work performed Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC installation and maintenance projects Service technician experience working on commercial or residential HVAC systems Strong knowledge of mechanical systems repair, HVAC design principles, and building automation controls Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics tools (such as ohmmeters), refrigeration systems Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals accurately Experience working in field service environments with a focus on customer satisfaction Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling required; additional certifications in electrical or mechanical fields are a plus Valid driver's license with clean driving record for van driving responsibilities Join us as a Journeyman HVAC Technician to bring your technical expertise to life!
