Position Summary We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of field experience . This position requires a technician capable of independently diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning residential and commercial HVAC systems. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting abilities and experience with commercial refrigeration, oil heat, and boiler systems. Previous lead or senior technician experience is a plus. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience EPA Universal Certification Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record No DUI, DUID, or DWAI convictions within the past 36 months Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Ability to safely lift, climb ladders, operate lifts, crawl, bend, and perform physical job duties Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional appearance and attitude Preferred Qualifications Previous senior or lead technician experience HVAC degree, trade school, or apprenticeship completion NATE Certification Low Voltage Certification Experience with DDC, BACnet, Modbus, or similar controls Experience with: Commercial refrigeration Oil-fired heating systems Hydronic boiler systems Primary Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, maintain, and commission residential and commercial HVAC equipment Service commercial refrigeration equipment including walk-ins, freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, and refrigeration controls Diagnose and repair oil-fired heating and boiler systems Perform advanced electrical and refrigeration diagnostics Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control sequences Install and troubleshoot refrigeration piping and low-voltage controls Perform airflow diagnostics, static pressure testing, and system balancing Verify equipment performance to manufacturer specifications Complete accurate service documentation Communicate professionally with customers and recommend repair or replacement solutions Promote maintenance agreements and value-added system upgrades when appropriate Operate company vehicles safely and participate in the on-call rotation Desired Skills Advanced HVAC troubleshooting Commercial refrigeration Electrical diagnostics Low-voltage controls Oil heat and boilers Refrigerant piping, brazing, and pipe fitting Air balancing and airflow diagnostics Strong communication and customer service What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Positive, team-oriented attitude Excellent mechanical aptitude Pride in quality workmanship Commitment to continuous learning Professionalism under pressure Customer-first mindset
