CoolSys is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Installation professional to join our field team installing commercial and industrial HVAC systems on construction and retrofit projects. In this role, you'll interpret blueprints, set and rig equipment, install ductwork, piping, and controls, and ensure code-compliant, energy-efficient operation. You'll work hands-on in a safety-first, team-driven culture, collaborating with technicians and project leaders. Responsibilities Install commercial and industrial HVAC systems on new construction and retrofit projects Interpret and work from blueprints, specs, and mechanical drawings Set, rig, and secure rooftop and mechanical room equipment safely Install ductwork, refrigeration piping, condensate, and related components Perform electrical terminations and basic startup of HVAC equipment Verify system performance, airflow, and refrigerant routing per design Follow all Cool Sys and OSHA safety policies and jobsite procedures Collaborate with foremen, technicians, and contractors to meet schedules Document work performed and communicate status to project leadership Provide professional, customer-focused service at active client sites Required Skills HVAC system installation Commercial ductwork installation Brazing and soldering Reading blueprints and schematics Refrigeration piping and startup Electrical connections for HVACUse of HVAC diagnostic tools Sheet metal fabrication/installation Equipment rigging and setting Jobsite safety compliance
