Job Description

Position Overview We're looking for a skilled HVAC Journeyman with at least 4-8 years of experience. You'll lead installs, run small crews, and represent us well on-site with GCs and project leads. You're someone who shows up ready, owns their work, and keeps the job moving. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle commercial HVAC installations-from blueprint to final walkthrough Interpret mechanical plans and blueprints to plan layouts and execute work with precision Fabricate, install, and hang large commercial duct systems with minimal supervision Handle refrigeration piping, charging, and equipment startups (RTUs, splits, VRF, etc.) Coordinate daily with PMs, GCs, and other trades to keep timelines tight and aligned Supervise small teams, mentor apprentices, and maintain a culture of accountability Ensure high-quality, code-compliant installs-no shortcuts, no callbacks Uphold safety standards and lead by example on every jobsite Solve field challenges quickly and professionally using experience and sound judgment Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient worksite always Low voltage thermostat wiring Qualifications 4-8 years of HVAC installation experience Proven ability to lead small teams and manage jobsite workflow Strong communication and accountability Excellent customer communication skills Proficient in reading install manuals, wiring diagrams, and layout plans High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) LEB Certification (preferred) Journeyman card from accredited trade school program or NATE CHP-5/Traditional (preferred) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in crawl spaces or rooftops Compensation & Benefits $34-$42 per hour based on experience and skill Performance bonus eligible 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance covered by employer Company truck + gas card 401(k) with 4% company match Paid holidays + PTO Advancement opportunities
