About the Role As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a vital expert in maintaining home comfort by diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing heating and cooling systems. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, high-quality climate control solutions while fostering long-term trust through transparent communication and technical excellence. Responsibilities Execute precise repairs and component replacements to restore system functionality and efficiency. Conduct comprehensive system diagnostics to identify root causes of malfunctions and provide clear, honest recommendations to homeowners. Perform routine preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and improve energy performance. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by explaining technical issues and service options in an accessible, professional manner. Document all service activities and findings accurately to maintain detailed records of system health. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a secure and efficient work environment. Stay current with evolving HVAC technologies and best practices through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC service and repair. Current EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Strong technical proficiency in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of US driving experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical system failures independently. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on consultative customer service. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a rotating on-call schedule effectively.
