HVAC Technician Pilewski Plumbing and Heating is looking for an experienced, dependable HVAC Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems while providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems Work on heating systems Service and repair central air conditioning and refrigeration-related equipment Perform routine and preventative HVAC maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related HVAC issues Repair or replace defective components and equipment Perform system start-ups, testing, and performance checks Install HVAC equipment and components as needed Explain repairs, maintenance needs, and system recommendations clearly to customers Complete service documentation and job-related paperwork accurately Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles Follow applicable safety procedures, codes, manufacturer requirements, and environmental regulations Maintain a clean and professional work area at customer properties Assist other technicians and team members as needed Perform other HVAC-related duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as an HVAC Technician, Service Technician, Installer, or similar position Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems Understanding of HVAC electrical, mechanical, and control systems Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment independently Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to safely use HVAC tools, meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Ability to work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, and materials associated with HVAC work Requirements Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable attendance and punctuality EPA Section 608 certification preferred and may be required depending on job responsibilities Additional HVAC certifications or licenses are a plus About Pilewski Pilewski is a local, growing plumbing and HVAC company serving our customers with dependable workmanship and professional service. Pay:

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
