Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Installation Technician to support our HVAC division. This Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation of HVAC equipment, controls, piping and duct board on new and existing buildings. Mericle Construction, Inc. is the largest, full-service developer of industrial, office, flex, and medical space along Pennsylvanias I-81 Corridor. Mericle has developed more than 100 buildings in the Scranton/Pittston/Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton area. The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more.

Responsibilities:

Installation of packaged rooftop units. Fabrication and installation of fiberboard ductwork. Installation of flex duct, diffusers and grills. Installation of exhaust and ventilation systems. Installation of split systems and ductless split systems, refrigerant pipe and condensate pipe. Perform work safely according to company standards using proper PPE.

Qualifications:

5+ Years experience as an HVAC Installation Technician. Associates degree or higher in Mechanical Field and/or Technology preferred. Prior experience as HVAC Installation Technician. Ability to multitask and handle multiple simultaneous assignments. Ability to work as self-directed individual with minimum supervision. Skilled in written and verbal communications. Strong attention to detail, ability to manage data with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to take field measurements to design and draw HVAC and Plumbing layouts.
