Overview We are looking for a motivated and skilled Residential/Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical systems and a strong understanding of HVAC installation, electrical systems, and troubleshooting. This position will involve installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The successful candidate will take pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, customer service, and completing projects safely and efficiently. Duties Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, gas/oil boilers, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment Follow construction drawings, blueprints, schematics, and HVAC design plans to complete installations accurately Read and interpret electrical diagrams, control wiring, and equipment specifications Perform equipment startup, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure systems are operating properly Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using hand tools, meters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment Work with various heating and cooling systems, including gas/oil boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and refrigeration equipment Complete plumbing and piping connections associated with HVAC installations and repairs Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all applicable safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers and explain system operation, maintenance requirements, and basic troubleshooting Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of workmanship Requirements Previous HVAC installation, service, or mechanical experience preferred Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installation procedures Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and basic electrical troubleshooting Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems Ability to use hand tools, electrical meters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment Experience with residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems required EPA certification for refrigerant handling preferred Additional HVAC/R, boiler, or related certifications/licenses are a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and continue developing technical skills Why Join Our Team?
