Join Our Team Opferman Mechanical / Carney & Sloan is looking to add one or two experienced Commercial HVAC/R & Refrigeration Service Technicians to our team. We are an established commercial service company providing HVAC, refrigeration and commercial food-service equipment service and repair throughout the Pittsburgh area. We are looking for experienced technicians who can troubleshoot, diagnose and repair commercial equipment in the field. If you're an experienced technician looking for a stable, long-term position with a company that values good technicians and quality work, we'd like to talk with you. This is commercial service work — not residential HVAC. What You'll Work On Our technicians service and repair equipment including: Walk-in coolers and freezers Reach-in refrigerators and freezers Commercial refrigeration systems Ice machines Rooftop HVAC units Condensing units and evaporators Commercial kitchen and food-service equipment Electrical and mechanical components associated with this equipment What We're Looking For We are looking for technicians with hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration service and repair .

Ideal candidates will have:

Commercial HVAC/R or refrigeration experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently in the field EPA certification Valid driver's license Good communication and customer-service skills Dependability and a professional attitude Pride in doing quality work You do not need experience with every type of equipment listed above. If you're a strong HVAC/R or refrigeration technician and are willing to learn additional equipment, we want to hear from you.
