HVAC INSTALLER
Berkshire Heating and Cooling — Pittsburgh, PA Berkshire Heating and Cooling is hiring a driven, experienced HVAC Installer to join our growing team. We are looking for more than someone who can simply install equipment. We want someone who takes ownership of their work, gets the job done right, and wants to help build a successful company while building a long-term career. The right person will be able to work independently without constant supervision, solve problems in the field, and consistently deliver high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
Install residential and light-commercial HVAC equipment Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, ductwork, and related components Complete installations safely, correctly, and within established job timelines Work independently and manage assigned jobs without constant supervision Take ownership of each job and ensure it is completed correctly and professionally Start up, test, and verify the proper operation of newly installed equipment Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and management Accurately document completed work and job details Follow company procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes Help train and support less-experienced team members when needed Participate in the company's monthly on-call rotation as needed
What We're Looking For:
Three to five years of professional HVAC installation experience The drive to grow professionally and help grow the company A desire to build a long-term career—not just find another job Ability to work independently without constant direction or supervision A get-it-done attitude without sacrificing safety, quality, or workmanship Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation practices Ability to identify problems, make sound decisions, and complete assigned work Dependability, accountability, and pride in workmanship Professional appearance and respectful customer service Willingness to learn, improve, and take on greater responsibility EPA certification preferred Valid driver's license and a dependable driving record Ability to perform the physical requirements of HVAC installation work Availability to participate in the monthly on-call rotation when scheduled

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday. Participation in a rotating monthly on-call schedule is required as needed. Additional hours may occasionally be required based on workload, project deadlines, seasonal demand, or emergency service needs.
