Position Summary:

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment.

Education, License & Cert:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

2 years prior experience working in the HVAC trade.

Essential Functions:

1. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including wiring, architecture, and sequences. 2. Install, service, maintain, regulate, and repair mechanical equipment including but not limited to, hydronic heat pumps and associated mechanical piping and controls. Cooling Towers. Packaged and split system RTU's and air handling equipment. 3. Perform Preventative Maintenance procedures to clean air conditioning as well as heating equipment. Including coils, condensate pans, drain lines, and cooling towers. 4. Coordinate with Facilities Manager, Supervisor, and other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently. 5. Ability to work independently with little direct supervision. 6. Maintains Vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe working condition. 7. Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair. 8. Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building automation system and associated components. Coordinate work with controls vendor as needed.

Other Duties:
