In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. A strong foundation in HVAC systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and mechanical systems is essential to succeed in this energetic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency repairs on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, electrical diagrams, and building automation system controls to accurately troubleshoot issues. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within electrical systems. Install new HVAC equipment and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC/R systems; construction experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC equipment such as air conditioners, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, HVAC design plans, and building automation system diagrams effectively. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics tools including ohmmeters and troubleshooting electrical circuits. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications is desirable. Experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance procedures, and equipment troubleshooting. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC or property maintenance are advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; van driving experience preferred.
