Position Overview:

You'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects for private sector clients across various industries and governmental agencies. Collaborating with a small, dynamic team, you will help grow our business by expanding our client base and contributing to winning new projects. You'll also visit project sites, learn about executing large engineering projects, and play an essential role in a growing small company. Preference will be given to Colorado-based candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
Apply various types of HVAC/Steam equipment, including air handling units, fans, coils, condensing units, and furnaces. Apply Boiler and Chiller equipment, including four-pipe systems. Perform commissioning and retro-commissioning activities, including performance testing, balancing, and troubleshooting. Support commissioning and retro-commissioning procedure development. Understand the layout of commercial and industrial duct systems, including supply, return, exhaust, ventilation, and dust collection systems. Have knowledge of cleaning/filtration systems for high-purity areas like labs and data centers. Possess a general understanding of HVAC system controls, including development of HVAC temperature control diagrams and written sequences of operation. Review construction document packages based on project requirements and applications. Review job-specific equipment and material specifications. Attend client meetings to understand job/owner requirements and expectations, including project review meetings, construction meetings, and project closeout meetings. Conduct on-site inspections of HVAC/Steam system installations and testing/balancing.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of HVAC/Mechanical systems experience. 1-5 years of HVAC/Steam commissioning experience. Commissioning Certification is a plus. Experience with government and/or VA Hospital projects is a plus. U.S. Citizenship required as per the requirements of government clients. Must be able to pass a Department of War background check.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain access authorization for federal, government, and other secure facilities/sites required.
