Job Description We are looking for an Electrical-Mechanical Technician with a strong background in electrical within Kemper America, you will perform a variety of installation and supervision/technical support and provide on-site and remote technical customer support and in house repair of equipment. Core Responsibilities Supervision of technical equipment and parts. Tracking equipment repairs and following up with customers on issues to make sure the customers are being updated on repairs. Troubleshoot electrical equipment ranging from 24V to 480V. Directs or performs the installation of specialized systems as necessary. Maintenance and repair of mechanical parts. Work at heights of up to 90 feet Following all OSHA requirements on customer sites. Performs customer onsite installations. Self-motivated and reliable managing all aspects of the job requirements and reporting progress to management. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Maintain personal appearance, test equipment, and vehicles in a manner that reflects corporate image. Travel domestic, by car or plane, therefore a valid driver's license and passport are required. Uses Maintenance Connection, or similar CMMS system to track all work orders. Maintains tools and work area in a manner consistent with the 6S guidelines. Actively participate in rebuilds/overhauls. Education and Experience Requirements High school or equivalent Experience with Low and High Voltage Diagnostics 2-3 years required. Experience in equipment mechanical repairs2-3 years required. German as a Second Language a Plus. Experience in manufacturing as a maintenance technician required or traveling equipment technician repairman.
