Following Is Preferred:
Diagnosing and troubleshooting heating and air conditioning systems Charging, recovering, and evacuating refrigerant systems Leak detection and refrigerant repairs Installing central air conditioning systems Installing heat pumps (ducted and ductless mini-splits) Installing gas and oil furnaces Installing boilers and hydronic heating systems Installing condensers, evaporator coils, air handlers, and line sets Fabricating, modifying, and installing ductwork Installing and troubleshooting thermostats and zone controls Reading wiring diagrams and electrical schematics Diagnosing electrical and control system problems Replacing compressors, blower motors, condenser fan motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, transformers, and other HVAC components Preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups Basic commercial rooftop unit (RTU) service Basic commercial refrigeration troubleshooting is a plus Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification Rhode Island Refrigeration License preferred (or other applicable HVAC licensing) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Excellent workmanship and attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers Dependable, honest, and team-oriented We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, year-round employment Overtime opportunities Paid holidays and vacation Company vehicle (provided when on call) Uniforms Ongoing training and opportunities for advancement A respectful work environment where quality work is recognized We are looking for someone who wants a long-term career—not just another job.
