  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team and drive excellence in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system installations.
In this pivotal role, you will lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring all systems are installed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will help deliver comfortable, energy-efficient environments for our clients while mentoring junior team members and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise system setup. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; troubleshoot equipment problems effectively. Perform HVAC system repairs and maintenance to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on system design options, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the project. Supervise and coordinate field service activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete installations efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC system installation and repair. Service technician experience with a focus on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems including plumbing, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration cycles, boilers, and building automation systems. Hands-on experience with electrical systems diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters; skilled in equipment troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with refrigerants such as ammonia refrigeration; knowledge of EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling is required. Experience with property maintenance or appliance repair is a plus; valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; willingness to lead projects and mentor junior installers.
