Experienced HVAC Service Technician Degree Home Services - Charleston, SC Full-Time | $26-$35+/hr + Commission | Take-Home Vehicle Degree Home Services is a growing HVAC & Electrical company serving the Charleston area, and we're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who knows how to diagnose systems, communicate with homeowners, and take ownership of their work. We aren't looking for someone who needs to be micromanaged. We're looking for a technician who can run their own service truck, troubleshoot difficult problems, provide customers with good options, and take pride in doing the job correctly. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems Troubleshoot heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, mini-splits, and variable-speed equipment Perform maintenance and system evaluations Identify airflow, ductwork, humidity, and comfort problems Present repair and replacement options clearly to homeowners Generate replacement opportunities when equipment is no longer worth repairing Complete accurate job notes, photos, and invoices Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle Deliver a high level of customer service without high-pressure sales tactics What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years residential HVAC service experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Comfortable working independently EPA certification Valid driver's license and clean driving record Professional appearance and communication Comfortable discussing repair options and pricing with homeowners Experience with inverter/variable-speed and ductless equipment is a major plus Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus We're especially interested in technicians who want to understand why a system isn't performing correctly , not just replace parts until it starts working. Compensation $26-$35+ per hour depending on experience and ability
