About us Lloyd's Heating Inc. is a locally owned & operated HVAC business, servicing residential and light commercial settings. Our goal is to provide quality heating, cooling & air products with excellent customer service. Our team of service technicians & installers have been serving the Watertown area for over 50 years! Seeking a hardworking & reliable individual to join our team. Our work environment includes on-the-job training & growth opportunities. Previous construction experience is useful but not required. As an HVAC installer, it is your responsibility to install and test heating, ventilation, air conditioning and indoor air quality equipment, according to manufacture specifications and company requirements. This also includes fabricating and installing a wide range of ducts and duct fittings, specific to each job.
Requirements:
Possession of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; •EPA certification is a plus! Certifications to be acquired after 6 months of employment: EPA Type 2
Certification and Gasfitter Certification:
City & Gastite Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record Excellent problem solving and customer service skills Strong mechanical aptitude, basic power tool knowledge Self-motivated individual with the will to learn Ability to work alone or effectively as a team Working alongside industry partners; electricians, plumbers, ect. Ability to operate in day-to-day outdoor weather conditions Ability to operate in confined spaces, heights and while crouching for an extended period of time. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Responsibilities:
Assist lead installer with daily tasks, per lead installer's direction. Remove old equipment and build & install new equipment & components within the time allotted for the job. Assist in receiving all materials & equipment required for each job, load into company vehicle. Stock vehicle with small everyday materials, per stock list; small tools, screws, batteries charged nightly, ect. Restock vehicle with tools & supplies daily. Ensure assigned company vehicle is kept clean and orderly. Make necessary adjustments after weekly vehicle inspection; add oil/washer fluid Install copper refrigerant lines to A/C units, including brazing and soldering. Fabricate and install flex & sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings. Carry out low voltage wiring to heating & cooling equipment. Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with both supervisors, co-workers, contractors & professionals. Leave jobsite clean & tidy Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time and as instructed by management.
