Quick Stop Markets is a chain of convenience stores known for our friendly service and convenient shopping experience. We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team and ensure our stores maintain optimal climate control, refrigeration, and appliance functionality.
Position Overview:
As an HVAC Technician at Quick Stop Markets, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems across our chain of convenience stores. In addition to HVAC and refrigeration duties, you will perform light electrical work and repair various store appliances, including warmers, ovens, and other commercial kitchen equipment. This role includes participating in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs and requires a positive attitude with the ability to work with both a team or independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers and freezers. Perform light electrical work, including wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs. Repair and maintain store appliances such as warmers, ovens, and other commercial kitchen equipment. Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Respond to emergency repair calls as part of an on-call rotation. Maintain accurate service records and report equipment issues to management. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
HVAC certification required. EPA 608 Universal Certification required. Strong ability to diagnose and repair both HVAC & refrigeration systems.
