We are a leading HVAC company specializing in residential new construction projects. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with an accredited Installation background to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work in the new construction field. 60 hours a week easy with drive time. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in overseeing and executing various HVAC services for new construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC installations, including new construction experience in professional installations to accommodate this type of service position, new construction type installations, and HVAC job site awareness. You will be responsible for a range of duties with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality control pertaining to residential new construction HVAC. Inspecting to ensure the job is correct and per company standards and local codes, starting up the newly installed equipment, and reporting any discrepancies for corrections and making corrections in real time. Making and receiving incoming calls from customers and staff and scheduling yourself during the week and potentially the weekend. Filing and uploading necessary paperwork per job on the daily. Reporting after each call and following up on calls is absolute. Correct constant communication is key.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and handle HVAC installation projects, including small repair items and the occasional system change-out. Oversee HVAC trim outs, perform startups, and knockout punch list items. Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and expertise. Handle minimal gas piping inspections/services as needed. Conduct service calls, ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards. Manage your own schedule and time efficiently. Supervise inspections and job sites to ensure work meets quality standards and compliance codes. Work with supervision and maintain communication with the office and team for support. Provided transportation to job sites or utilize company vehicle available to you.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HVAC Service & Installation Technician, specifically in new construction. Absolute understanding of refrigeration system and abilities to handle HVAC installations, startups, changeouts, and service calls. Experience with HVAC system startups, punch list items, and customer service. Experience in gas piping installations a plus but not needed. Must be able to manage your own time and schedule efficiently. Valid driver's license (eligible drivers only). Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team on daily basis.
