JOB OVERVIEW
The Maintenance A/C Tech is primarily responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor modifications to exhaust fans, A/C units, and refrigeration equipment of the resort as determined by the supervisor. This role prioritizes guest comfort, safety and satisfaction by ensuring all systems operate efficiently and reliably. Success in this position requires strong accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to deliver timely, high-quality service. The Maintenance A/C Tech must be patient and possess excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, repair, and clean all HVAC units on property, including monthly filter replacements, to ensure optimal performance and guest comfort Maintain, repair, and clean all refrigeration and freezer units to support daily operations and service standards Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair boiler systems ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing system performance Maintain and service all ice machines monthly to ensure consistent availability for guests Identify potential maintenance risks and take proactive steps to prevent equipment failure and service disruptions Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for PTAC systems and complete timely, effective repairs Clean, adjust, and repair PTAC systems to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff Provide technical direction and assist with on-the-job training, supporting team development and shared success Ensure full compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) regulations Follow service standards, work instructions, and guest requirements with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism Respond to and assist with guest inquiries and maintenance requests in a prompt, courteous, and solution-oriented manner Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete tasks efficiently and maintain smooth resort operations Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager

Universal Certification (Required)
EXPERIENCE HVAC
experience: 5 years (Required) Small Appliance experience: 3 years (Required) PTAC experience: 3 years (Required) Valid clean driver's license (Required)
