Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of maintaining comfortable, safe, and efficient indoor environments. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and service a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your mechanical expertise and customer-focused approach will ensure optimal system performance while delivering exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and mechanical issues using hand tools, ohmmeters, and specialized testing devices. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and building automation system (BAS) controls to accurately diagnose problems. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards. Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems such as condensate drains and refrigerant lines. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during every interaction. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with construction or property maintenance background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems including HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration). Ability to read schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC system design documents. Skilled in equipment troubleshooting involving refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and building automation controls. Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers; familiarity with diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical diagnostics are a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating HVAC equipment in various environments is advantageous.
